Sled Started as a 2006 440 IQ Racer

Completely Polished Tunnel and Bulk Head using the following steps: Russeau Racing & Restoration

600 Grit Sand Paper
800 Grit Sand Paper
1000 Grit Sand Paper
1500 Grit Sand Paper
2000 Grit Sand Paper
2500 Grit Sand Paper
Polish with hi speed wheel, "hard" pad and Tripoli compound several times
Polish with hi speed wheel "soft" pad and White Rough compound several times
Polish with hi speed wheel "soft" pad and Jewelers Rough compound several times
General cleaning and up keep with Mothers Billet aluminum Polish and white rouge and Jewelers rouge compounds
Front Steering Arms sanded down to remove all casting marks and then polished using steps listed above
Polished aluminum tie rod sleeves
Polished custom aluminum spindles from Power Addictions
Rear Suspension Slide Rails Bead Blasted and Polished with Scotch Bright

Hood-Omni Metallic Black (used on Jeeps) Base Coat Clear Coat
Spider Web on Hood was painted using air brush. Color is proper Polaris Red used on 2005 and 2006 440 IQ A-Arms
Handle Bars, Brake Master Cylinder A Arms, Steering Post, and Engine Support Pillars Painted with Omni Metallic Black Paint
Engine bead blasted and clear coated using Omni Clear
Cylinder Head bead blasted to natural aluminum and clear coated using Omni Clear
Rear Suspension Torque Arms painted black base coat clear coat
Front Suspension dual rate springs painted base coat clear coat using proper Polaris Red

Aluminum Bracket for Avenger II EGT Gauges mounted directly to handle bar clamps
Exhaust Canister Mounting and re-fabricated based off of 440 IQ mounting
Exhaust hole and spring tabs
Oil Injection upper and lower mounting brackets for Mid 1980 Polaris Indy High Capacity Oil Tank
Spider Web accents on rear of seat hand bent and welded, and painted using proper Polaris Red
Custom "Flamed" aluminum bogie wheels

14" by 1.375 Polaris Lug Track from 2004 800 Pro XR. Track windows punched out and re-clipped to accept 2006 440 IQ extroverted drivers by Leland Performance

Extra Bogie Wheels in center of sled to provide extra hi fax protection

Hi Capacity oil tank from Mid 80 Polaris Indy for oil injection
Dyno #'s for a twin to this motor: 140hp @ 8200rpm, 60bsfc (very rich and safe) on Neil's Dyno uncorrected at 2850' elevation and 65 deg. temp. On 92 octane pump gas. Tuned up a little 150 would be easy on a cool day.
